Unit 10!!!

Wow:) Already I am done with another term. I can't believe how quickly this year has gone by. With each term that ends, it brings me closer to getting my degree and I love it! Before I know it, I will be graduating and moving on towards my next educational goals (Can you say Masters and then PhD). I can see how people become life long students because I enjoy learning so much. I think that this term was my favorite by far. I am leaving this term feeling like I am entering into my career already. I feel educated and knowledgeable, though I have so much more to learn. I will take all the feedback and work that I have acquired from this class and save it for future use. I liked doing the blog and taking a moment out of my day and just getting my thoughts off my mind or anything weighing on my chest. I think that this blogging thing for class is a great concept.

I am looking forward to my break though. I am blogging now and doing any discussion posts for my other class today so that I can get my academic break going. There are 4 days that I am looking forward to--DEC 24, 25, 26, and 27th because I won't have to work or do school work!! Not to mention that the 21st of this month I will be celebrating my 36th birthday:) Hey I can't complain-Life is good.

Hope everyone finds a smile or two in each day that comes to them!

I don't know if I will continue to blog. I love the concept and may spread the word to friends, family and clients to enlighten folks in one way or another. I guess you'll just have to check back and see.........

The very best to all

Unit 9

Well, here we are nearing the very end of the term. Ya know it tends to be bitter sweet. I have enjoyed the way this class was taught. I think that blogging is a great way to get people familiar with the idea of "just writing". It's a simple yet powerful way for someone to get into a routine of writing. Expressing yourself with words. Thoughts, ideas, concepts and feelings can race through the mind like a million miles a minute and to take a few moments out of your day to "update", helps to bring clarity to your mind. Even if no one ever read even one of your posts, blogging in a sense is exercising your mind and something good to do for yourself.

As I work to put the final touches on my final project, I look at my paper and see my growth. I see how I have improved from beginning, to middle, and now the the final draft and I have to say that I am pleased. The way this class was presented to the students, I think helped each person on a customized basis. Encouraging us "do not stress" and reinforcing that "we can do it", I think were 2 things that really helped me to blossom. With each writing project I do at Kaplan I see my writing evolution. I can't wait to see some of my work once I graduate:)

"A writer is dear and necessary for us only in the measure of which he reveals to us the inner workings of his very soul."-Count Leo Tolstoy

Unit 8

Here we are approaching the end of the term and getting into the nitty gritty of the holiday season. All is well and I have really enjoyed this aspect of class. Blogging is online journaling and so it may or may not be for everyone. At first I was a bit apprehensive about blogging because I didn't want to put all my business in public view. I don't think that I am an overly private person but at the same time I think way too many people give up too much private info in life. I am not a facebooker largely because I feel like a lot (not all) people who go on facebook get way to caught up in trying to see what everyone else is doing or saying and a lot of the times it may not be good thing. So in that respect, I do like keeping to myself. This blog was nice though because I could just sit down and write what was on my mind. I wasn't going to inform you about any drama going on in my life. In life we need to focus more on the positive things so I try to pass that on to who ever may check into my blog. When a person tunes into whats new with nychelle, I want them to at least leave feeling kinda good. Hopefully, something that I write maybe gives them a smile or distracts them from something not so great going on in their current situation. There is soo much beauty in the world and often times it is something minute that appears with overwhelming splendor!

Harmonious moments
Awesome days
Pleasant times are
Priceless to
You!

Wishing wellness and smile to all!  *Nychelle*
